I know it is hard or runners but you should lay off for a while and let them grow back - also are your shoes causing the problem? Something to think about

I would get bad callouses on the fronts of my toes until I went to a specialty running store and got custom fitted for shoes. Proper socks make a difference also believe it or not, the kind that have extra cushioning in the pressure point areas. Really, the best thing for running ailments is one of these...

That's what happens when ya lollygag! How'd that guy not see that!
(I do like how everyone else just calmly went around him and kept rolling lol)

It is from an increase in mileage and my gait changes as I get tired. I have been running in the same make and model (Saucony Fastwitch) for the last two years. I run for my health and sanity and my previous heart problems. I had four stents put in my RCA five years ago. My resting heart rate is now 42 BPM.

I see my podiatrist on Friday and I am sure that the big toenail and the one next to it are coming off. It looks nasty, but really does not hurt after a day or two once the swelling goes down. I will have video the removal.

You better not post that **** here, your pics are bad enough as it is! If you have this problem with 12 miles, then HTF do marathoners not have bigger problems training & competing for 26? This topic is just wrong!

I hear ya... I ride more than I run but still manage to get at least three 10Ks in a week. I've done quite a few halfs and a couple full marathons in the last 4-5 years man those hurt. Took a couple years of it for my knees to start rebelling on those longer trips. The place I get shoes from takes measurements and analyzes your gait and stride on a treadmill and has you try a few different types until you get the best one.. they also can set you up with inserts that correct any weird angles side to side you may have. check around they should have a place like that near you. They may have a better fitting shoe of the same type you're wearing now (saucony's a good one)
