What are the correct bolts to fasten the carburetors to the intake on a '70 440 Six Pack?

A fellow club member says the correct carburetor to intake bolts have an 'H' on the head, and that these same style 'H' bolts fasten the intake manifold to the heads with washers.

(I was thinking that the carburetors were fastened to the intake with studs and nuts?)

Thank you for your reply, where is a good place to buy these bolts?

Also, what bolts and washers are used to fasten the intake to the heads?

I have removed MANY virgin factory intakes and I have yet to see one that used washers under the intake bolts

I'd like to see an original factory manifold with washers, or a factory service illustration that shows washers.

HMMMM. Let me check the parts book, see what it says.

I have a fellow club member whose fairly original '70 Dodge Super Bee has washers, he says it's factory. Of course, 48 years have gone by, car has had a number of owners....

I use washers on my Ace Hardware chrome plated INTAKE manifold bolts to keep them from gouging the aluminium 6 bbl Chrysler Edelbrock intake. No washers on the carb bolts IIRC. I'll take a look a little later.

Agreed, no washers on the carburetor bolts, but perhaps on the intake manifold bolts?
