I replaced the booster on the Cordoba and while it stops just fine I'm not happy with the pedal movement. The new booster has an adjustable pushrod on the master cylinder side that I think will help but I'm not sure how "tight" it should be. Should it just touch (as it does now) or should it slightly push in on the MC piston?

Yes you can adjust the rod that goes to your pedal to tighten it up the way you want..
The adjustment you are refering to should not be adjusted usually...

Actually I found the problem, as it turns out the brake pedal push rod hole is .040 out of round and slightly tapered letting the bolt move around.
