Borgeson adjustment screw?

On the Borgeson steering gear, what does this adjustment screw do?

I believe its for adjustment, steering wheel play.

It’s the worm gear adjustment. When the steering box gets really old, you can tighten this locked screw a tiny bit. You’ll know when you have 100% new idler arm, pitman arm, inner/outer tie rod ends, good alignment…..and you STILL have slop in the steering wheel. Years in the future, when this happens, loosen the nut, turn the screw clockwise 1/4-1/2 turn and retighten the nut…..years from now
 
LOLOL, you’re a mind reader. I rebuilt the front suspension last year, EXCEPT for the idler and pitman arms. I have both of those arms in my hand now looking at the geometry compared to stock arms. Had these PST fast arms 10 years now, and finally installing them.

Steering wheel has heaps of slop now.
