Folks,

I just finished installing my new Borgeson power steering box + coupler. I was running a Firm Feel stage II box, which I removed due to a leaking seal.

Bottom line - I like the Borgeson unit better. A bit less assist at low speeds, but more precise at speed. There is no on-center wandering now; I did have some of that with the Firm Feel box. Note I am using a stock Saginaw type P pump, though I have not removed the pressure regulator to see how it is set.

Thumbs up!

I'm very happy with mine except for the hissing that is transmitted through the column when using a u-joint coupler rather than a rag joint

yep … did the Borgeson via Bergman too

do a lot of freeway driving and it is arrow straight at speed

Rag joint? The 1973 and later B bodies, all FMJ bodies used that style.
