Under all that grease and dirt might be a part number.
 
I wonder if that's a bracket associated with the reverse lever lockouts on a manual transmission car.

Or is it the bracket at the bottom of a column shift automatic linkage?

I'm thinking it might be part of the auto trans linkage.
 
OUCH, I didn’t know u are in a wheel chair and I assume most on here don’t either. I can’t say that I have ever seen that bracket. Is it for sure mopar? Kim
Hi Kim, I'm pretty sure it's Mopar, as that's pretty much all I've owned for the last 50 some years. :)
 
I think you’re right on the assumption of lower bracket anchor for auto linkage.
