So Im working on restoring a 67 Newport 2 Dr, 383 4bbl, It has a ford 9 inch rear end right now the stock gears are 273's i was thinking of putting 355s or 373s It wont be driven long distances, mostly just weekend crusing. I want it to be able to smoke the tires, not that it already can't. Also to be able to eat some import trash that runs the streets in my town. just wondering what you guys would recommend. Also I have ordered Electronic Ignition from Mopar Performance. I also want to convert the front Drums to Discs I was told I can take the lower Ball joints and Setups from anything thats mopar from 70-80 anything that you guys know wouls be a basic bolt on way to do this. thanks. Would appreciate some ideas on where to start, and any other suggestions would be much appreciated.
