So I've got a hellcat going in a '69 Charger and I'm trying to sort out a brake booster.
The car had power drum brakes originally.
I'm upgrading to Willwood discs on all 4 corners.

I've got a kit that came with 1" bore, Willwood master cylinder but no booster.

I'm considering upgrading to a modern, universal (non-Chinese), 8" dual diaphragm booster but I'm unclear on the bracketry that would be required and the connection to the stock brake pedal linkage.

Other option would be to stick with a rebuilt original style booster.

Can anybody steer me to an expert or reliable source for information regarding upgraded braking systems for theses cars?

Any help would be appreciated!

Go hydroboost, it will give you a lot more room and apply enough presure and volume.
Cass @Dr Diff mat be able to give you a recommendation.

Hmmm,
I am currently watching this thread
I am building a 63 Dodge and Forum member "Hemi-itis" has a nice setup on his Monster Plymouth...It's fully Blown, Hemi, there is no cure!
He has installed a Composite Master Cylinder, Wildwood...
So, I am interested in your thread...

So the only negative I've heard about hydroboost is that if your motor quits, you don't have any brakes.

I seem to have plenty of real estate for a booster.

Thanks for the thoughts.

you will still have brakes, just a hard pedal.
And I can't imagine a new hellcat stalling all the time.

Thats not true at all. The little cylinder on the side is a reserve. From my understanding it will give you around 3 hard stops if needed.
How many diesels have you ever heard of failing to stop due to a bad HB? They are on a lot of cars as well...I think thats one of those urban legend things from people that dont understand how they work...by the way, thats what I have as well, 4 wheel Wilwood disc all around.
