i can't get my brake lights to come on in my '63 plymouth . i don't expect anybody here to fix that. what i was curious about though is, my switch, on the pedal, has 2 red wires that come together at the switch close to the pedal into a female spade connector. there is also, at the other end, a round bullet type connector. now, what i was wondering is, how can both ends be hot? i know how the switch works, power goes in and when the pedal is depressed, power goes to the lights. so how does this switch work? if both ends are hot wouldn't the lights be on? thanks for any replies. gary
