Brake line block off?

So I need to bock this port off. Is there a specific/special type plug? Thanks.

Not special- but the plug must have a flare fitting end.

The plugs I normally see for things like that do not have any flare on the bottom, they are just pipe plugs, usually with Teflon tape on the threads. Not arguing the point but just saying that I haven't seen any plugs with a flared end.

Weatherhead fitting used to make the correct plug for that check an auto parts store and know what size line fitting you need should be 3/16 or 1/4 some used 5/16 inverted flare

I ordered some off amazon, inline tube sells em too. Just make sure you buy the right size

99% sure NPT plug would be the wrong thread. A flare plug might be NPS (national pipe straight). NAPA probably would have some flare plugs.

I agree, my bad I wasn't thinking it through. The plug shown on this thread is the right one (obviously).

Converting to disc brakes and adding a jumper tube to a metering block( I think that's what it's called).

From what I can tell its necessary for a disc/drum setup using an oem valve. Mine is a 68, originally drum / drum.
