Brake Line Question

I installed new brakes.... Disc/Drum with Proportioning valve attached to MC. The front lines are 3/16" and the rear calls for a 1/4" line to the rear. The stock rear drums are 3/16" from the tee, my Question is, will it make a big difference if I run a 3/16" or 1/4" line from the front to the rear tee? Not sure if it will affect the proportioning valve fuction. .....See pic

no,it will make no diff what size line you run.once the line is full of fluid it is pretty much all the same.its not like running bigger fuel line,fluid has very small amount of travel in the closed system.

Ok, new question.....Does it matter on the front brakes with rear mount calipers if the brake hose comes off the top of the mount or the bottom? I see alot of pictures with front mount calipers and the hose coming off the bottom of the mount. Mine fits well off the top.

nope.only thing to worry about there is the bleeder screw.needs to be on top so you can get the air out.

Really doesn't matter where your inlet is so long as the bleeder is at the top.
