So I want to get new brake lines. I checked out http://inlinetube.com/ and http://www.finelinesinc.com/ . Inline seems to be the way to go. So I called and told them the conversion I was doing(disc from a Fifth Ave). The best bet was an adjustable vavle.OK nothing new yet. What he asked me though was across the firewall does my brake line have a hump over the transmission well. Don't they all? Mine seems to but I don't see where it wouldn't. I don't want to order the wrong line. Has anyone dealt with this? I've been looking through threads this morning and don't see any differences.

I ordered my brake lines for my 66 belvedere from inline tube and have been very happy with the fit. Mine has the straight brake tube (right side front brake line) across the fire wall.

Thanks. That's probably what I'll go with.

The one in my 66 Coronet is straight. You should be able to see it.

I'm planning on using the prop valve from the 5th Ave. The car is a similar size and weight (probably heavier), so I think it should be close. Guess we'll see.
