I’m going with a set up from dr. Diff, so I have my original master cylinder to deal with. Is it worth replacing the rubber and rebuilding it, to sell it, or throwing the whole thing out?

If rebuilding, where do I get the rubber, and what’s the going price for an original drum brakes master cylinder?

thanks!

What does the bore look like? That will determine what to do with it...

I got my rebuild kit for 30 bucks CDN off of Amazon.. Comes with spools, rubber, valves, etc.

I’ve looked on ebay, and Amazon. Anyone have a link? Also, I’ve Googled it, with no luck… or tell me the search terms as “1971 Dodge Brake Master Cylinder rebuild kit”

thanks!

Type ... master cylinder rebuild kit for 1971 dodge charger ... into Google and follow the leads. Measure your MC bore to make sure you're getting the correct one. Using your MC casting number would help you out as well...

It's always nice to have an OEM spare.
