Converting to an aftermarket power booster, and don't have a reference height for the brake pedal. would anyone be able to measure this for me, maybe with a picture. 1969 b body
I'm interested in this too! A few buddies from the forum have driven my '68 Satellite and have told me they think my brake pedal sits too high and something doesn't feel quite right...
The pedal in my 66 Belvedere is 8 1/2" measured from the pad (facing driver) to the floor....with no carpet. The pedal in my Dakota is 6 1/2" with carpet. How far does your pedal go before you have a rock hard pedal?
Cranky i have no idea how far the pedal moves, i got this car in pieces and am trying to put the puzzle back together. Thanks for the reference height of the pedal, gives me somewhere to start.
I hear ya on making it comfortable but that's the next issue, there is nothing in the car but a brake pedal. No dash, seat, steering column, so i don't have alot to work with
I currently don't have a column and seats, just trying to finish up the pedal assembly so i can put the dash back in. As the money comes in i can buy the parts i need.
