Brake pedal

Bout 30 years ago I slapped together my 64 belvedere 2 door sedan. It had power brakes. I dumped the booster and put on a master cylinder. The pushrod didn't line up to well but i shimmed the master around and got it to work. So now, whats the deal on brake pedals? And the mounting plate? Do I really got to go on a pedal hunt? Also I wouldnt mind off setting the master for valve cover clearance. Recomendations and tips? Thanks.

Here a offset adapter, it’s adapted to a 2 stud master though.
