Here is my last set of "New Old Stock" Johnson HP Hydraulic Lifters.
These are from the Old Days and American made. Box
opened only for pictures
They are the Hardened, and Rockwell tested version (Distributed
by Sealed Power back then) and the only lifter that would hold up
in our 7500 RPM Stock Eliminator cars.
The difference is Night and Day between these quality lifters and the
darn Junk from China you can obtain today!!
They are not cheap, but neither is flattening a Cam and destroying an
engine. The metallurgy and hardness are critical with the cams and valve
pressure we run today even on the street. My Daddy (Racer since 1920's)
told me: "You buy the Best and You only Cry Once"!
These work perfectly in either a big or small block engine unlike most all roller lifters
and some solids that are engine specific.
