Came across a small car show here in the Bronx yesterday. Two Mopars. But my disappointment turned to joy when one turned out to be a '69 Hemi RR!

Nice car but the engine is underexposed. Photographing an engine in bright sunshine tricks the camera into thinking there is LOTS of light when there is only lots of light to illuminate the fenders and grill. By turning the flash on it will fire and illuminate the engine and the sun will illumiante the fenders and you get a great shot of both at the same time!

I wasn't expecting to run into a car show. Thus, I didn't have my camera on me, and I was forced to snap these shots with my cellphone. I was just excited to see such a nice locally housed/owned Hemi. I tried to talk the owner into bringing it to Carlisle.

Is this a real hemi car? Seems to have a lot of little mods that you don't see on real cars. Still nice looking car!

The told me that it was originally a 383 and the hemi came out of a buddy's '69 GTX who totaled the car in '70. I forgot what the original color of this RR was as well. The motor sat in the garage for 20+ years before this guy got it off of him and dropped it in, and modified the RR you see here. Sorry for the bad shots, but a nice car to have and drive

It's still a nice RR either way...

Whoohoo another 69 and with a hemi too :blob1: Resto Mods are my favorite. a little factory, a little mod. a little factory. a little more mod, a little more for Santa Claus oops wrong movie....

This was at a show i attended yesterday. 69 GTX hemi auto 1 repaint mostly origanal and this guy drives it everywhere.
