Hey, just got to thinking about my stock driveshaft from the '64 318poly. Are there different diameters for the b&t driveshafts from the early 60's? I could Only find charts for the late 60's mopars.
Just want to be sure it'll handle the 400hp punched out 413, 727 & 3.55 8-3/4.

Don't think there is any difference in diameter and should handle your engines output.
Had one in my car for years until I replaced with a modern design and had no problems.

Thanks! The driveshaft I have just seems a small diameter compared to the later models. I think it's even smaller than some of the exhaust pipes guys are putting on these days. lol

While I plan to replace the rear u-joint, does the b&t joint need any attention, other than re-greasing? I think the boot is okay.
