Team,

I'm in need of the locking stud, or bar ( or whatever its called ) for the buddy seat out of hte 67 coronet. I'm sure more than one model year would apply, but its located near the hinge area...and mine seems to have lost it....or them....

If you look at the top of this hinge in this pic, you'll see it peaking out.

Have you checked on eBay? There is usually 1 or 2 that are real rough just being sold for parts.

Yeah ....I did.....

I have this bottom. Not sure if the uprights are the part(s) you are looking for.

Other part sir, the non post side

The studs that stop the top

Should be fairly easy to make those pins? I also thought you were looking for the flat bars

How the hell did the bar fall out??? Lol

So I’m looking for the bar

If my measurements were correct, it's 5/16" in diameter and 9 to 9-1/4" long.

Which one of you machinists out there can whip one up?

If my measurements were correct, it's 5/16" in diameter and 9 to 9-1/4"

looks like it has a slight groove on the ends?

That groove is an optical illusion. Here are a couple more pics:

Boom, fixed

Lay the 5/16 bar across the pillars with a 16th for tightening. Cut, filed and it fit right in there.
