Went to the first car show sponsored by the Budweiser brewery in Jacksonville, FL. This was the first time they had sponsored a show... and it showed. They had 153 cars show up, but hardly any vendors and the only food guys were one car club grilling hotdogs. The show was supported by a Corvette club and a Porsche club, so they dominated the vehicles there.

There were only three classic Mopars there: my Road Runner, a Challenger T/A, and a Demon with a hood that said Six Pack but I could never find the owner to see what was under the hood. There were a lot of the "new kids" driving Challengers and Chargers there. What was pretty nice was out of the ten trophies for modern cars, 1990 to present, the Mopar guys won five, which was a damn fine showing given the number of late model Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, and Porsches that were there.

I met a family from the Pittsburgh area who took a bunch of pics of my car and sent them to their son who is deployed with the Air Force out in Qatar. About an hour later they came back and showed me an email they got from him asking them to buy the car for him, but I told them it wasn't for sale. :)

Here's some pics...

what the hell is that suburban doing back there..whats that got, a ten foot lift.!..ha,ha..wow....God Bless Bear R.-..:headbang:.

That Suburban is configured as a serious tailgating machine. The back opens up and drops down to reveal a platform with two recliners on it, then the rear is just one enormous TV screen. I spent some time sitting there watching the Gators game. Pretty nice!

Thanks for sharing, I love the T/A Challenger Too...

I was looking through some other car sites and found three pics of my car that were taken at the show. There was no internet the last time I took cars to show, so I never got to see any pictures someone else took, but it's pretty cool to see that someone else thinks enough of your work and car to go to the trouble of posting pictures of it. :)
