Sorry if this has been covered already. I have a build sheet that is almost ready to turn to dust. Should I laminate this before it's too late or is there a better way to preserve it?
It's for a 69 Charger R/T if that helps..
Thanks,
Bob

I would defiantly take some high quality photo's of in HD and try to get a scan of it first .. I really don't know about laminating it. I'll let someone else speak to that

I would not.Take it and make a color copy.You need a color copy to have one reproduced if something happens to the original.Go to your local office supply store and buy a clear sleeve to put it in.

What if you put it in a frame behind some art-quality UV inhibiting glass? I would agree about scanning it first, the thing won't last forever, but in a frame it would make an interesting piece for your man-cave wall.

Thanks for the suggestions! Seems like laminating might not be a good idea. I will get a scan of it and see about framing it.

What I usually do is a combination of what was already suggested;
-scan AND take pics
-then put it in a clear sleeve
-then put that in a UV protected picture frame.

I did the same with mine. I scanned it and then printed it in color with a good quality printer. I then put it in a clear sleeve with a cardboard back to it. Lastly I put it in the same size envelope and marked it clearly so nobody (wife) accidentally puts it in the trash. I keep mine in my desk drawer away from direct sunlight.

Kinkos will laminate. A buddy who had his original window sticker for his 74 Cuda had his done there. It looks good.

Be careful with cardboard,
it can discolor and damage paper over time....had a comic book guy lecture me about cardboard being bad for paper, those guys are serious lol

I had mine laminated years ago-or at least what was left of it.
Made copies too beforehand. There's still enough there to tell it's original to the car.
To each his own but I'm glad I did it way back when because there probably wouldn't be much left of it by now.
