SOLD built 440

I have a fresh from the machine shop 1970 440 shortblock that is .040 over with ross dome pistons, polished ly rods and chromed mopar steel crank.it has been balanced and honed with deck plates. .600 lift bullet custom ground solid camshaft and lifters. pbm lightened double roller timing chain and cam has already been degreed to bullets specs. i was building this motor to run the 6.50 class but have changed classes and plans. engine will make 600 hp with ported iron heads. machine work and assembly was all professionally done by sam murphy in elizabethtown, ky. i also have a set of closed chamber 516 heads that are fully ported with big valves etc. they were done by gerald geary in louisville ky. i will take 800.00 and i have over 1500 in them. they flowed 272 on his bench @ .600. engine is in leitchfield, ky. 42754 the only reason for selling is i am going small block. I have well over 3k in it and will take 2k firm. comes with high volume oil pump and deep sump oil pan. I can put on a crate if needed. my loss your gain.

Would this fit in a 66 charger?

the same type oil pan fit in my 69 roadrunner so i think it would fit the charger but not 100% sure. if the oil pan is the deal breaker i have a stock one instead. but like was said oil pans are cheap, built 440s are not.

i seen this on craigslist, im in kentucky also...i couldnt find a phone number so i sent a email through craigslist...i really like the motor and i think its perfect for my 70 roadrunner..
