I just restored a 68 b body and not wanting to use a bumper jack in the event I have to change a tire on the road, looking for some imput on alternatives to the bump jack? Thanks
A scissors jack...like what is found in later model pickups and cars. You need one with a pad vice a notch so you can use it on the lower control arms or spring pads vice body edges. I believe you can get them at the chain auto parts stores...or of course on a salvage yard walk-about. Don't forget the handle! It's either that or drag along a small floor jack...
