Yeah Sure enough It is a bumper filler right/left corner, I think these are the part numbers, center 3686617 and ends 18 & 19
I have found only one company that sells any of those on the web.
I think it's atlas. Google roadrunner bumper filler and ebay will bring up the folks with the centers. He says he is still waiting on the ends to come in, but that has been the situation for months.
If you find any please let me know I want to replace my whole set. I keep calling them but I wont buy just the center. I want to do the whole job.
Please call them and bug them. The more people who are wanting something the harder they will try to get something to sell them
Thanks for the parts number...was able to find the center piece on ebay...I am happy with the piece I fabricated for the center of my bumper but figure I will probably just repaint the end pieces if it becomes a hassle to replace them...Marla:the real oz:
Getting them off???? Thats a whole nother chore. You have to remove the bumper, they have mounting brackets and bolts that are on the inside of the bumper. I can only pray that you won't have to go through what I did.
To get the bumper off yop simply remove the bumper bolts or so I thought.
Well after 39 years the threads were corroded and right after I got them a little loose the danged carrage heads started to pop up and turn when I put the ham to the wrench.
I went so far as to back uo my pickup and wedge a 4x4 between the round head and my truck to keep them from spinning...
No such luck, get out the dremmel and start cutting off the round parts so I could drive the square carrage heads through the bumper. That sucked!
Next time I would think about a wire brush and a week with PB blaster to soak them real good or a nut splitter or freeeze them and snap em.
At least I was having my bumper rechromed and they were nice enough to straighten out a tweek, fill an existing gouge and the ones I did too, at no extra charge.
Swell guys there at D.C. bumper.
Have big fun and I hope it goes better for you.
