I just bought a 383 out of a friends junk 70 Newport 4 dr, it will be used for derby. Bought the motor and trans for 50$ it started right up and idled on old gas, had a little bit of lifter noise but thats all going to be replaced. Took it all apart, looks amazing inside and the trans appears to be rebuilt. Building the 383 for a 69 Coronet Bee clone. Im told that the C body motor mount is the same, Although the rubber will need to be replaced. Is that true? And also the radiator came with the motor in the C body will it work in the B.
