I can't believe NOBODY replied to Kevins thread:sad4:Even if your car isn't together,I have heard great things about this event!!I've been thinkin about going Saturday for the HEMI show. It's about a 5 hour drive for me:blob1:

Any going this year? I went the last few years and just found this thread for last years show. I will be there in my R/T as it is about an hour from my house. I can not find what days it is this year. I do not think the Curt George race is at this track this year.

I use to race there many, many years ago when it was called Keystone, thats when there was still PID.

The Curt George memorial is in Ohio this year. I can not find out if Pittsburgh Raceway has a dedicated Mopar event since the Curt George is gone this year.

The Curt George Race is at Quaker City Motorsports Park in Salem Ohio this year. It's in August.... I'll have to check the official date.

I like PID (KEYSTONE) I think it's a great track however I think there was some Mgmt issues. Never the less if we get our motor back together we're hoping to be racing there.

If I can work the schedule I'll be there. Curt and Bob helped me out when I first started racing. Great guys. I miss Curt every time I'm at the track.

PID was Pittsburgh International Dragway when it was located in Pittsburgh. Keystone changed the name of the track several years after PID closed although I had raced at both. Back in the day it cost $3.00 to race at Keystone Raceway.

KD Belvedere... It would be a 7hr flight each way & rental car & hotel room etc. & my wallet much lighter...LOL... I'd go in a heartbeat, if I wasn't all the way over on the west coast, at-least to spectate anyway & I also don't own a Gen II Hemi car, that's within those specific race rules either, that really narrows down, who can & will be able to go &/or even participate, the Gen II Hemi cars were pretty rare to begin with, let alone any added rules.... But if anyone from here does go make sure to take allot of photos & action shots... thanks in advance, I'd surely like to see any....

good luck to all who go, go kick some collective Hemi Butt

I will when my old dog Buddy is gone... I don't want to put him thru a long road trip or have to leave him in a kennel, he has separation anxiety bad nowadays or let alone leave him & my elderly alky Pops alone for any period of time... I will probably start to travel again when my old dog Buddy is gone at least... then just load up Pops & head east, take Pops to a few tracks, historic sites & events back there on the east coast...

make a spring & summer of it maybe

Bring Buddy... Pennsylvania is a dog friendly state. LOL

Thanks for the offer... I'd love to, but he's getting way to old, for an extended road trip like that, he just turned 15 y/o yesterday... he's doing pretty well thou, all things considered... he use to travel with me everywhere, now just regular rides to the store or up the mountain for fishing & stuff...

My male will be 9 and my female will be 8 in August. My daughters will be devastated when they die.
