Any of you B Body enthusiasts out there have a 67 GTX survivor? Would love to see pics! I have what I consider to be a 95% original car so far and want to make sure of the items that I will need to find original parts for.

I don't consider mine a true survivor, but it's all original. I think the LF fender was replaced and repainted early in it's life. Over the years I rechromed a rear bumper, replaced the carpet, and put Legendary replacement seat covers. Engine has never been out, and the original unused spare tire is still in the well, but I did add new air as it only had 10lbs left in it.

The tires pictured above are 1979 date code and I drove on them until 2 years ago. Original jack instructions finally fell off the trunk lid. I rebuilt the front suspension and replaced the original shocks and replaced brake shoes at the time I replaced the tires. 91K original miles.

do you have the original package tray in yours? do you have the rear speaker option? if so, does your package tray have the speaker cutouts for 2 speakers or one? Also, I noticed that your coolant sticker is on the passenger side of the radiator. Many cars I have seen have it on the Riverside. I wonder if that has to do with where it was built? But this is a very nice representative of a unmolested car.

I bead blasted the lower control arms, and clear coated them. They had a light coat of rust when removed and didn't look to have ever been painted or dipped in anything.
My car doesn't have the rear speaker option, but does have a package tray that would allow for 2 rear speakers. The rear speaker option was only one rear speaker. All the 67's I have owned had the same rear package tray (provisions for 2 rear speakers).

mine has the 2 speaker cutouts as well. That is why I was asking. Odd that they would do that for 1 speaker. mine does have the rear speaker, but for some reason the speaker was out of the car. I found an NOS rear speaker kit that I am installing.

My 67 Satellite has the rear speaker option - single speaker as noted above. Original package tray had perforated speaker holes on both sides. I have a repop in it now that also has holes on both sides, with 6x9s underneath :)

If you look closely you can see the spot and darker place on the decklid. Placement is not critical, it was just slapped up there.

I have owned two 67 survivor GTXs in the past 20 years or so. I would like to dig up some pictures and post them since I don't own either car now. One was a dark green 4 speed no power steering car that I bought out of Louisiana and it was eventually sold on here out of Virginia. The other was a white copper stripe and copper interior automatic power steering car. I am not sure what happened with that GTX. The survivors posted on here are nice looking GTXs. Both were 440's

Option, and pretty rare. Of all the 67's I have owned, I have never seen one.
I have a defroster motor and duct that I pulled out of a junk yard car 30+ yrs ago. I don't remember what it was in. Might have been a c- body, but it fits on a b-body package tray. Draws cabin air in through the "speaker" holes on one side and there was a slot in the package tray for the vent - the slot is already in the metal tray.

Not sure how it was powered. I didn't think to look for a switch.

Is the hood pull lever, spring, latch, upper control arm washers painted red? Is there any radiator support black out on there?

Hold latch parts are a dark brownish cadmium plating.

The upper control arm washers are dark grey phosphate
