Can `66 charger seats be refoamed and recovered to look correct in a `69 charger ?

I spent my day at the junk yard today and made out with a set of bucket seats from a `66 charger along with a bunch of other odds and ends. My question is can I recover these `66 seats with the foam and covers for a `69 or are the frames totally different ? I have a daughter that likes to eat and get the occasional new toy so I just cant see dropping the 500 dollars every one wants for a set of rusty `68 and up seat frames.

Did you get all the bracket for the rear seats? As far as fitting how bad do you want them there and what are you going to use for a trunk divider? 66-67 Charger back seats where two buckets and not a solid bench with console from front to rear of passenger compartment. They must have been in bad shape or someone had no idea what they were out of and no 69 covers will not fit totally different frames.

I know the rear is not at all the same. My question was to do with the front seats. If you or any one has any info on that it would be greatly appreciated

Have you checked with any cover suppliers?
