I purchased these five tree saplings from a flea bay seller and they were/are supposed to be Live Oaks, Quercus Virigiana, is their official name. They look nothing like all the other live oaks I have bought. I contacted the seller asking for verification, and I got back a very broken english response that told me this seller does not understand or speak English fluently. Does anyone recognize them? They did seem to retain their leaves over the winter. Here are the five in question, and one of what I am sure is a live oak, thanks much.

Top one or on left in your post maybe a Carolina cherry laurel? Little out of focus..
The one to the right or bottom…oak? Out of focus too.. just a stab..

I wouldn't think they are Live Oak
They have lil' prickly barbs all around on the leaves, (hurt when you step on them barefoot)
& the leaves are smaller sized, when fully grown too
like silver dollar/sized 'at most' (probably not even that big)

Also not a good tree anywhere near your house
make sure 50' away at min if they are

out here
the Oaks are a lot different from up North or back east,
really vertical grey/almost stripped looking bark, when mature too

If they even are an Oak (?)
they may be ?
some sort of Black Oak or White Oak
have the smooth & lil' bigger leaves
hard to tell by the photo

Ye shall know a tree by its fruit, is what my dad used to tell me.
He was a master gardener.

There's a phone app you can get that's pretty good. "Picture this" is what it's called. Download it, point it at the plant(s) in question, and it'll tell you what they are.
