Instrument Cluster Gauge Condenser Dash Cluster 1966 Belvedere

Today I was working on my dash cluster and removed the instrument Cluster Gauge Condenser on the back but forgot to document which slot is slides into. Can anyone tell me which slot the capacitor slides into 1 2 or 3. Thanks Capacitor.jpg

#1 is ground, #2 is 12v, #3 is 5v. If you're running an electronic voltage limiter the condenser is no longer needed.
Mine was plugged into the 12v slot.

I '67 Belvedere II, I was wondering the same thing. I am having dash issues from a previous owner installed stereo that I am removing. My voltage limiter (original) was plugged in, so I am correct in NOT plugging in the condenser? If I need to, which slot does it go into? It is confusing and the manual / schematic does not give a great deal of info on this. Thanks !
