carb. question

HI, My name is wayne. I am working to restore a 71 gtx 440 4bbl 4spd. Does anyone know what carb. it might of came with. It has a build month of April. I also read that if it has a build month of April the engine was blue not orange. Any help please send me a pm. Thanks

I believe for 1971 blue was used after April on the 340s, 440s were orange.
