My son just got a set of Micky Thompson valve covers for his 318 Satellite, looks very similar to the Mopar Performance version. They have an opening for the oil filler cap in one and a pcv valve in the other with a new grommet.

All good so far but there is no opening for the breather. On the one with the oil cap opening. So do I need to modify them, ignore it, or is there a breather that replaces the oil fill cap?

Any help is appreciated.

Looks like you haven't hit the "Welcome Wagon" yet. Show up with pics too when you do.

Search on Summit for different style breathers for your valve cover. Most give measurements in their description of each one.

I tried uploading a photo but got an error and don’t know how to res it down in my phone.

Looks like I can just replace the oil cap with a twist in breather of the right diameter right?

Try getting measurements of what you have. They're different sizes. I ended up with a rubber bushing and a push in breather in the hole that originally had a twist in cap. Just an idea.

There are twist-in style breathers that can be used in place of the fill cap. I know Spectre used to make one that fit.
