I have never had a set of the Mopar black cast covers but I am reading that they recommend certain bolts for them? Has anyone used these with the stock cover bolts?
What is the reason behind these bolts? they sure are pricey 30-40 bucks at Summit etc.
Thanks

The cast is thicker that the stamped steel originals, so that's why these are needed, it will give you enough thread in the screw holes to tighten them down, versus striping the couple two or three threads you will get with original length bolts, to secure them properly you will need them.

Figures, the guy I bought them from said something about they can crack, and I got the impression it was because of the bolts.
Well that will save me a couple of bucks LOL
Thanks
