Does anyone know if the crank pulley mounting holes on cast and steel crank dampers are different? I'm trying to get the correct pulley combination (crank, water pump, alternator, power steering) for my 440.

yep, they're different, 71-earlier has 1 offset bolt (2nd hole from the crank key, counter clockwise.. lines up with the timing mark), 72-later is symmetrical (doesn't matter if it's cast or forged... even if it's after 72 forged motor home crank, it's symmetrical)

Just oval out the one hole. Or be like me, only 3 bolts on the race car, works fine, less weight. I've done both.
