ccevents @ norwalk...new best et.

the ccevent @ Norwalk always seems to produce new best et's and this past weekend was no exception. my car ran it's new best (with the dual 4's) 11.34 @ 117 with a 1.54 60ft... and i know of at lest 5 other cars that had new best also. the air on sat. morning was the best we had and thats when the cars were flying. Norwalks racing surface is the best i have raced on..smooth as glass and it has PLENTY of bite. got to see Casey make a pass in the Whompin Wedge...look pretty good to me..thats 1 cool hot rod. this race always brings out some of the fastest-coolest MOPARS.. and it did the same this year. heres a few pics of my car from this weekend.

man...thanks alot chris.. much appreciated..i was really happy with the way the car performed. i'm sure you don't know it ..but i'm using your tuning suggestions that you posted on moparts a couple years back..iirc you were helping someone with tuning on an inline dual 4 set-up on a hemi. and i figured that your suggestions on jetting and metering rods and where to run the acc. pump were as good of a place to start as any. well, i haven't changed them since, the car runs like a champ at WOT or just idling thru the pits. i would love to make my way over to your neck of the woods some time when the air is good..always thought i would like to run ATCO. hell, who knows, maybe i'll head over to 1 of your NENDRA races next summer...

fantastic al, looking forward to meeting you and getting you to race with NENDRA. great guys and very competitive.

hey ..thanks for the kind words Ron...it's been alot of work but i'm pretty happy with the way the car turned out...i still have that other dual 4 intake ..just say the word and i'll ship it to ya and you can give it a try. And Chris, i'm most definitely gonna try to make it to 1 of the NENDRA races next summer.
