Center Horn Button Star Repair ??

Hey guys, I searched here in the forums, google, youtube and I can't find where anyone shows how or if the Star on the back of the center horn button can be fixed or repaired.
Has anyone repaired a loose or completely detach star?
Pictured is a Plymouth (Lt) & Dodge (Rt). The Dodge one is completely removed (Came this way from seller that included it with a full horn ring purchase).
The Plymouth is solid (used as reference).

I am wondering, if a hole can be drilled, is a small diameter twist rivet available? Just like the ones that hold the the plate on the bottom side of the intake manifold , for the cross over.

Drill and tap for small button-head screw.

I replaced mine last year

Drilled the pressed rivets out , , drilled and tapped the holes for a #6 machine screw

Worked like a charm
