My center passenger side freeze plug (318) has sprung a leak - a really minor one, barely gives four or five drips dead cold overnight - so I figure it's About That Time and have a brass plug set on the way.
Is it reasonably easy to do all six along either side of the block by undoing the engine mount on one side and tilting the engine? I don't want to pull the engine right now, I'd rather save that for winter when I'm not driving the car much anyways.
Or if my main goal is to just stop the leak and keep driving for the little good weather we have out here in Washington this year and save the big heave-ho for later when I wouldn't be losing road time, should I just throw in some kind of stop leak and do the block and the heads with the engine out this winter?
