charger/polara Floor pan interchange ?

Please don`t through stones at me if this is a rediculously dumb question.

My local junk yard has a rust free (yes here in MO) 66 polara. I can get the floor pan out of that car for not alot of money. Is the 66 polara and 69 charger floor pans at all compatible ?

C and B body pans are completely different.

... just did some reading, polara switched over to the c body in `65. That is moderately depressing.

If the Polara is cheap enough, why not buy it, strip it and sell the parts to fund new AMD floor pans?

I`d like to, it has lots of good parts and I hate to see the stuff end up scrapped.

Get the polara Floor pan and compare it to the Charger Floor pan. Maybe with some trimming you can Make it work.

+ you will destroy a good car for somebody that really needs a 66.
You will be way ahead in $ and time with AMD.

At least 400 dollars witch to me is a decent savings. With that said it is a non issue since the compatibility isn`t there. I like habib`s idea but I have a full time job a part time job and I do alot of side work so I`d hate to invest the time in that and not have it work or end up with something that looks terrible.

Fu64ry, its a four door and it will end up crushed before any one buys anything off of it 1/4 panels are solid too. Any time some one calls for pars on old cars the old man that runs the yard gets pissed says he ain`t got none of that old crap and hangs up. Then promptly complains about business being slow. He treats me right though so thats cool.
