I am the middle man helping a busy friend sell a car. This is a '72 or '73 (I can't remember), Dodge Charger Rallye 400. This is a project. The car is complete and has no major damage, virtually rust free. It has not run in years. It is somewhat disassembled, he was going to restore but only took some of it apart. He has a profesional restoration shop. It's located in northwest Georgia. It was "tawny beige" (gold) with a tan interior. You can buy it as it is or he'd be willing to put the engine back in, or he could completely or partially restore it for you. He's flexible on it, just wants to sell it. Everything is numbers matching and he has all original paperwork including the window sticker, and dealer selling paperwork. He got it from the son of the original owner. Not many original complete cars with paperwork around anymore. He was gonna hot rod it and paint it a different color etc but he said he's willing to let someone have it original if they want. I asked him to let me put it out there in case someone is looking for something like this. He just finished a 69 Charger and a 69 Mustang and both are for sale and he is ready to start another side job (working on his own car) in addition to his regular work.If you are seriously interested contact me and I can get more info for you. I don't have pics and the price could very well be over $5,000 so make sure you can buy it before you get me to go there and take pics and all that stuff. I certainly will appreciate that!
