Cheap No Good Door Emblems!

Well been through my third set of "road runner" door emblems off ebay. Should have learned my lesson the first time. First and second set the pegs that the 1/8" thread cutting nut screws on to were ground half off for some reason and didn't allow the nut to get tight. Third set I just bought the pegs are way too small for a 1/8" nut but came right out of a mopar package.

The two that have the pegs ground down are also flimsy as hell and can be easily bent. I have used some solder on the pegs so maybe that'll work now. Stupid things...

Are you positive that they actually are made to take a nut?Just removed some factory emblems off a dart swinger.The Swinger emblems and they had a small tin insert that presses in the hole that grabs the peg on the emblem.

Yeah pretty sure...at least the stock ones did. I honestly didn't have the emblems on the doors when I got the car but the one on the trunk was still there and was for sure held in place by thread cutting nuts.
