Well I just bought my 68 Roadrunner last week and already have had a couple of guys say its probably not a real RR. And when I first looked at it I check the VIN matched the title, the SO on the tag and radiator all matched up, but didn't know about the trunk SO stamp, so razor knife in hand to scrap of the sticky goop and paint I found it and it match the SO on the radiator frame and the tag.
Now to check the engine and tranny. I know PCP is not a stock color for the 68 RR, It was originally in was a blue. But the owner told me that it was a RR and that the engine and tranny are original also.
How many 68 RR were hardtops?
