cheetah shifter ?

was wondering how the shifter works? I have the reverse pattern one but haven't mounted it yet. I am use to the rachet style shifters, just bang it and it's in gear. It seems like the cheetah just "slips into gear from 1st/2nd/3rd. Is this the way it works or does it just feel like because I don't have it mounted.

Let me no how you like it ? I have a B&M PRO STICK ,rev. shift and I can't stand it the way it shift !! hand on the shifter when start and the launch makes it slip right into second , and there goe's your good et # . Keep me posted !!!

I have the Cheetah shifter and it works well. I haven't had an issue with it yet. I do have the full "Commend Center" that surrounds it as well that has 8 switches in it and it is a bit of a challenge sometimes to wire and get it to fit right....
