If you look around you can find videos of the biggest car manufacturer in China advertising their new EV models. They do look nice.
Continue looking, and you will find hundreds of examples of them breaking down with critical failures(really, really bad quality control) with under 5k miles, or outright bursting into flames just sitting there.
It's almost like a communist country's own production is unable to execute. I wonder where we saw that before? (cough Russia cough)

If you like EV or not, the truth is lithium batteries are not the answer for these things, and China producing parts for them is going to be an epic disaster. China has embraced the EV trend and the reality of them is showing. Remember, if we can find video evidence of this stuff over here, imagine what we can;t see considering China's government overwatch of anything on the net. All we are seeing is a fraction of events that sneaks past them and escapes to the rest of the world, and then survives western tech censorship.

I would say people that 100% discount eye witness accounts, sworn testimony, and overwhelming anecdotal evidence because it wasn't on TV should not be allowed a say in things. I would never go as far as to tell someone they can't find love and have a family. That's some authoritarian over reach to put it lightly. Hey remember when China said you can only have one kid?
