It does seem to be so. Evolution has made a choice about what lives a long life.

Green cars matter.:D

I like it. A lot depends on how extensive that rust is. Sounds like somebody inherited grandma's car and is now looking to make a few dollars. I think its worth more than 2,500 but certainly no were close to what the asking price is

I'm at $2k for it. That speedo looks nice and pristine though. I've always been a sucker for rectangular speedometers.

I'm diggin' the wheel covers.

$6,600.00, pfffft! Between the rot on the lower edges of the quarters, the green interior & exterior, and the slant 6, I'd say that it's a $2,000.00-$2,500.00 car. No more.

Which brings up the question: At what point of rot does it cease being a "survivor?" This thing would need about the same amount of metal work as many decent, unrestored examples that just look uglier to begin with, due to worn or surface-rusted paint.

Granted, it's nicely kept, but I bet cancer like that hasn't taken over the quarter panels exclusively without touching something else. The metal under that vinyl may be Swiss cheese in need of a whole roof skin swap, and I'm quite certain there are already noticeable rust bubbles under the vinyl on the filler panel below the rear window, right hand side, just left of the vinyl seam.
