Has anyone used there system in a B body car? My 69 has factory air but everything is really just shot. I wanted to use one of there retro kits. I noticed in the instructions that they block off the fresh air duct. Were does fresh air now come in and do i need that large duct that connects fresh air to the older heaterAC box----------Thanks

You should call the Steve. They have a kit specifically for non ac cars and then they can get you what ever parts you need to fix an ac car. The firewall is different.

Have had Classic Auto Air in since 2008. Ice cold and never a hiccup. Non AC car. At the time, Vintage did not offer a kit for the Coronet. A friend has Vintage in his 'Cuda and the distribution is better. You do lose the passenger side vent in my app. I'd recommend Classic in Tampa to anyone. I've been to the shop, tons of stock.

I had the same situation with my 73 Charger. It had air but missing parts and everything shot.
So I ordered their upgrade kit for under the hood which consists of condenser, hoses, compressor etc.
I got it in after many installation issues. The instructions were not very good. It assumes you are replacing items and you know where everything goes. I also found everyone BUT Ron unhelpful. Ron seems to be the only guy that knows what is going on. I finally got it in toward the end of fall not enough time to REALLY test it out but what I did was very good. Only one issue was the system was freezing up. Ron sent me a new thermostat just in case I had gotten a bad one. But I think it is so hot under the hood that the thermostat needs more insulation goo (long story). But, point is I just woke the old girl up (not my wife, the car) and haven't had a chance to dig into it yet.
Otherwise I would have to say it works well.
