Anyone else frustrated recently trying to order or get info from Classic Industries? Trying to order carpet, bucket seat covers and some odds and ends. Everything seems back ordered and there are 30 minute waits for customer service when calling. Ordered new ignition set a week ago and it still has not shipped. Does the Covid have everyone working on their cars right now? LOl.

Yeah, I had placed several orders and it was taking up to 3 weeks to get it delivered. Frustrating when you're trying to get a project done.

Such can be the frustration when dealing with drop-shippers....

Better than Tamaraz. 10 days to acknowledge the order now 10 days later still silent

go to Legendary for seat covers cant go wrong and rockauto for your carpet. @Packfan

Classic was closed for 1 week, just opened today, they were cleaning and spraying things down to make safer for employees, it was posted on their website. Top of page all week.

Yeah, I received my refund today, as expected, from an order I made and immediately canceled when I found out USCT had the $360 part for $259 and Classic Industries wouldn't budge. That was June 29th.
Even after a 20% discount and free shipping, CI was about $70 higher.
I got an email regarding another order I made with 2 day shipping, and replied basically saying that the excuse was lame. They replied that they would refund my shipping and send it overnight Monday. Once I got that reply, I told that supervisor about the plight of no price match and no refund, even though I had been told 2 consecutive phone calls after the day of order call that the order had been cancelled and I should have the refund that night.
They need to get everyone on the same page.
In the end, the part I ordered they did right by, but I'm disappointed in the failure to match the price or at least offer to come closer of the manufacturer's price.

Normally you can order right from the source. Won't always be cheaper than the vendor but it can shorten the shipping time.

In the past I ordered from a vendor on Ebay and it was drop shipped from the manufacturer. It was wrong or damaged and I ended up dealing with the manufacturer anyway. That's happened to me twice.

If you're going to a show, like Chrysler@Carslile contact the manufacturer or vendor and ask if they will be there and have what you want or make sure they bring one along. You get a show discount plus free shipping.

Isnt classic in California? Well California is going full retard and going under lockdown again, so...

When you're reselling someone else's stuff, it's hard to match their price....

Sage advice here.
Always buy directly from the source when possible. Cut out the middleman, save a ton of headaches -
and ALWAYS check to see if whoever you're buying from actually has the part physically in their possession!

I don't understand why you guys keep buying stuff from Classic. There are so many better vendors out there.

In my case, the torque boxes were a mistake to source at Classic, and I immediately corrected it. In the case of the front spring hanger rear reinforcement plates, they were the only ones I could find with limited time and vendors to search that had them in stock and I needed them immediately.

I've had hassles with getting a brake booster from Jeg's - ordered it end of April...still waiting. Home Depot order for new deck boards early May. They sent wrong boards 3 weeks later + some were damaged likely from a shipping guy banding them too tight. That shipment sat in my yard for over two weeks killing the grass under it as I mowed around it. They sent a semi-truck to pick it up but didn't have a forklift to pick the load up. Another week later another truck picked it up. The correct boards? Still waiting for them! We had great weather here for putting those in before the hot-humid weather set in. Not about to do this job anytime soon, if they ever arrive, handling 70lb 20' composite boards in 90-degree heat. I'm starting to perspire as I think on this...

Get yer carpets from a manufacturer.I bought my ACC carpet from Stock Interiors. The gal at ACC said they can discount as ACC has venders and can not discount. Shop smart guys!!!

If you are still looking for the spring reinforcement plates, I bought 3 sets of them from Dr Diff and had them in a few days.

Thanks.
AR installed on the front (nut) side, factory "square" plates from Classic Industries delivered this morning Red Label, overnight, no charge, on the spring side.

Anyone have a better source for 68 Charger door panels? I ordered some from CI in March and they’re still on back order.
