Hi,
Does anyone have advice for cleaning the headliner.
Products that work without destroying it?
Thanks!

2 things, put the cleaning products on a rag and wipe across the headliner. Don’t push hard. Let the chemical do the work, don’t rub it too much. Switch to a clean part of the rag often of the dirt is coming out.

the upholstery shop told me Coleman stove fuel in the can to remove ink from a ball point pen from a cloth seat. It works like a miracle!
At the dealership we used brake cleaner to clean interior stains.

I don’t know how old your stains are, or it you are trying to do a general cleaning. That headliner is an odd piece and replacements are impossible to find.

remember the headliner isn’t in direct view so it doesn’t have to be perfect. Unless this is a concourse restoration.

isopropyl alcohol will dilute and spread stains (including ink) and render them unnoticeable after several applications
