Column shift indicator restoration

Anyone have any ideas how to “darken” the letters/numbers in the clear plastic indicator? Unfortunately, they are smooth, would be much easier to freehand if they were raised. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to freehand it and have it crisp and not look homemade. Obviously painting the back white is the easy part. Can’t find any repops online. Haven’t tried WTB yet.

Look for a local sign/decal shop ,they can print one on clear tape. My local shop has done a bunch of smalls for me.
