Hello Fellow B Body fans, this is my first post and hopefully someone can help. I just purchased my 3rd 1972 Roadrunner , well actually my 2nd RM cause the middle one was a clone, and I need to replace the bushings on the column shifter Z-Bar. I'm working on an almost all original 440 GTX and it still has the original Z-Bar. I've looked all over the internet and on the site here and I cannot find any information on where to find the bushing. I found what looks like a partial Chinese kit on E Bay but I want to fix it once, fix it right and move to the next issue.

Thanks for your input.

Thanks, i don't know if this is the ones I need, I need the ones that go from the lower steering column , then to the z-bar then back to the trans

Two original part numbers;
before 2/15/72 3467754
After 2/15/72 3467800
A pair of these bushings are also used with the floor shift linkage system. The link above is a reproduction of this bushing.
Appears 3467800 is still a good number, superseded to a current number anyway, check your local Chrysler Jeep dealer for stock;

Thanks for the helpful info and I'm getting closer. I think new washers and clip will fix the loose connections at the Z-Bar. After further review my main issue is the busing between the steering column and the rod described above as 19-48-1. Mine is completely missing and the small diameter rod is floating loose in the 1/4" to 1/2" hole on the shift lever on the steering column. I found a reference to this part for a manual column shift on P 21-37 of in the 1972 Chassis Service manual but all it says is Plain washer, bushing and grommet without any details on the busing or grommet.

Unbelievable

NOS bushing.jpgNOS inventory.jpgThanks 72RoadrunnerGTX!!!!! thanks to your part number information I called my local dodge dealer and gave them the 2 part numbers. They didn't have the parts but told me the nationwide system said that a dealer in south GA had the grommet and a dealer in NC had the bushing and gave me both dealers phone numbers. After a couple of calls I bought both NOS parts directly from the dealers for less than $20 including shipping. 72RoadrunnerGTX Rocks! This website Rocks and Chrysler Dodge rocks for still having these parts. One of the part's label said it had been in inventory since 1995.
