Hi all,
First of all, if this ad isn't allowed, please delete it. I am trying to abide by the rules, but I know this ad may be a little weird.
Long story short:
I've got a 318 in my '72 Coronet that ran up to about 18 months ago. It'd probably still run; it just hasn't run since I removed the 904 trans. The engine came with the car, and I'm looking to go to a big block.
The issue is, I'm by myself and only have the tools in my single apartment garage- no engine hoist, so I can't pull it on my own. I'd like it out of the way to do welding/steering box work/etc.
I'm willing to give the engine away for free to anyone with a hoist willing to help me get it out of the car. I'm located in Atmore, AL- 36502.
Again, I believe it's a bone-stock '72 318 (stock iron heads, etc.) with an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake and carb, with headers (I'm not sure of the brand.) It's got the black finned Mopar Performance air cleaner and valve covers. You can have it all, air cleaner to oil pan, fan to flywheel, header to header.
Would anyone here be interested?
Also, again because I don't know what to do with it, I've got the '72 peg leg 8.25 rear in the garage which you can also have for free, drum-to-drum. Even if you just take it to be recycled and get the cash for it, I don't mind. I just need the space!
